Bath and Full Groom Rate Estimates

Regular (frequent) grooming is very important to the health of your pet!
 
Some things to know about Bathing and Grooming:
 
*If your dog needs baths using prescription shampoo, we’d be happy to use it for you.
 
*The shampoo we normally use is an Aloe Vera based hypo-allergenic shampoo with no fragrance.  A clean-scented silky conditioner can be added upon request.
 
*The removal of deep mats will be to the discretion of our Groomer, A.J.  He will not cause pain in any way to your dog, and may ask you to consider a ‘summer cut’ instead. The hair will indeed grow back and can be brushed regularly with a fresh start.
 
*If you have specific requests regarding haircuts, be as specific as possible.  Clients sometimes draw a diagram, bring a book, calendar or photo to express what they do or do not want.  Maura will take notes and keep your wishes on file for the next time.

Call us for an estimate of our rates for baths and grooming. Please note that estimates given online or over the phone are not guaranteed quotes - every dogs' coat is different, and the time it takes to carefully and properly groom each dog varies. 

Baths $45 and Up (includes shampoo, blow dry, full brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and glands if necessary)

Small dogs / smooth coats (e.g. smooth Dachshund, Frenchies, Bostons, Chihuahuas) usually $45
Small dogs / wire or short hair (e.g. small terriers) approximately $45-50
Small dogs / complicated coats (e.g. Yorkies, Maltese, Poodle) $50-$65/up *varies, depending on coat, time needed & complexity

Medium dogs / short hair (e.g. Puggle, Beagle, small Labs or Boxers) - usually $50
Medium dogs / very sheddy or long hair (e.g. small Doodles, spaniels) - $55-65/up, *varies, depending on coat, time needed & complexity

Large Dogs / short hair (e.g. Weimaraner, Boxer, most Labs) $50-55
Large Dogs / very sheddy or long hair (German Shepherd, Collie, Husky, Bearded Collie) $55-75 *varies, depending on coat, time needed & complexity

Giant Sheddy or Complicated (e.g. Newfoundlands, Malamutes) $75-125, *varies, depending on coat, time needed & complexity

Full Grooming Including Hair Cut and Bath (includes shampoo, blow dry, full brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and glands if necessary)

Full Groom with Haircut $60.00 and up, includes Bath, Blow dry, Nail Trim, Ear Cleaning, Brush out, gland expression.
(Haircut prices range depending on the size of dog and complexity of coat as explained above)

Small Breed Simple Cuts (e.g. Wire Haired Dachshunds, Wire Jack Russell) $60.00/up*

Toy & Small Breed Long or Complicated Cuts: (e.g. Yorkie, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Poodle, Schnauzers)
$65.00 - 70.00/up*
 
Small to Medium Long Hair (Spaniels, Lhasa Apso, Terriers) $65.00-70.00/up* 

Medium to Large, Medium Hair (e.g. Porties, large Spaniels, Wheatons) $65.00 - $75.00*

Large Dogs, complicated hair (Poodles, Doodles, Chows, Old English Sheepdogs) - $75.00- 125.00/up*

*The above prices are estimates only - each dog varies in time needed for a thorough and complete bathing.

*Trim with full Bath - scissor or clipper trim of certain area(s) only (e.g. eye area, hindquarters, feet, beard, etc.) add $5 - $10

*Herbal Flea Baths (no dips!) add $5 - $10 depending on size and coat

*Treatment Shampoo add $5 to $10 depending on size and coat (Zymox brand, Oatmeal, or other medicated formulas)
